About beer

When it is a hot day during Summer, I like to drink a glass of very cold beer with foam on top. Serving cold beer is normal in Japan, but in other countries they don't necessarily serve cold beer. In London beer is tepid and they have no foam. There are two kinds of beer. Lager and Ale. London beer is Ale. Ale isn't kept cold because it is so that we can enjoy the taste. If the ale beer is cold, we can't taste the beer. It is different in Singapore. Singapore is very hot. There fore it is difficult to keep beer cold. They drink beer with ice to keep it. Thailand is the same style, but the reason is different. A while ago there weren't many refrigerators in Thailand. They weren't able to cool beer. Therefore even now they drink beer with ice. If it contains ice, the taste becomes blank. Therefore Singha beer which is the most famous beer in Thai has a strong taste. In Japan, we cool beer as much as possible. Summer in Japan is hot and wet, cold beer makes us feel refreshing.
