Taketonbo

When I was writing my diary while having lunch in a coffee shop, a stranger came up to me and asked "Are you a student ?". I answered "No". Since I only answered with few words, he asked me "Are you Japanese ?". I answered "Yes, I'm Japanese". He saw me studying English as I was having lunch, he was impressed. He said "I will give you a reward because you are great". Then he gave me a Japanese toy called "Taketonbo". After 5 minutes he left. I tried to fly the Taketonbo at a small park nearby, but It was difficult for me to play with it. I haven't played with the Taketonbo since I was in childhood. I forgot how to fly it. I tried to many times, but it didn't fly into the sky like how I imagined. I should have learned learned how to fly it from the man.

To get up early

I don't like getting up early. I had tried many ways to get up early. I regret that they were all unsuccessful.
One way was that I bought an alarm clock with a loud ringing noise. I was used to the bell after a week, I wasn't awaken by the sound.

Another way was that I placed the alarm clock far from my bed. One morning when the alarm went off, I got up and I stopped the clock, but I went back to sleep.

Another way was that I slept early. I assumed that I couldn't get up early, because I was short. Although that wasn't the reason why I couldn't get up early. I haven't yet found a way to get up early.

Zoorasia

There is a zoo called "Zoorasia" nearby. This zoo began 10 years ago. I've never been there. This morning, my sister suddenly invited me to go there. I was planning to stay home and watch movies all day. Since the weather today was fine, I changed my plans and decided to go to the zoo.

When we arrived at the zoo, it was the meal time for penguins. At first, the keeper fed fish to the penguins by putting it on the ground. Their movements of pattering the feet while walking were cute. Secondly the keeper fed fish to the penguins in the water. The penguins were swimming well. They were working very hard to get there food. They had grimed faces. Their appearances weren't so cute.

A rice gruel party

My friend hosted a rice gruel party. We enjoyed the party. Since I have never been to such party before. I didn't know whether it was going to be exciting or not. When my friend and I arrived at the house, we saw a lot of side dishes laid on the table. There were salmon, kimuchis, seaweeds, plums, cheese and soup. There were also some seasonings such as salt, soy sauce, sesame and chives. We could combine our favorites the way we want. The party was very exciting unlike what I expected.

Seeing the cherry blossoms

Finally I went to see the cherry blossoms with a lunch box yesterday. Fortunately the weather was fine and not windy. I went to the Mitsuike park which was a famous place known to be as one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan. There were three big lakes. A lot of cherry blossom trees surrounded the lakes. These trees were almost in full bloom. The sight of all pink was very beautiful. A lot of people were having lunch at an open space of the park. There were a lot of kinds of groups such as families, only girls groups, adult groups and couples.All of them looked happy.
