Common language

I met two people who work in a famous company in Japan. The company was noticed because they decided to use English as a common language. I asked them "How do you think about the situation?". They said that speaking business English is very difficult. They have to write their business reports in English speak in English in meetings. Every week their CEO sends an English e-mail to all staff. Every one in the company must learn English. It was especially cruel to the officers of the company. If they couldn't speak English after two years, they will get fired.

Hanamizuki

I went to a cafe today. There were a few people at the cafe. I sat at a table. Behind me there were four women talking. I didn't care to listen until hearing a certain word. The word was "Hanamizuki". This word is used as the title of a movie. The movie is on screen now. My favorite actor is playing a role in the movie. I am planning to go see the movie someday. Unfortunately my plan is canceled because of them. They hadn't seen the movie except her. She started to talk about "Hanamizuki". Then I sensed bad. My expecting was correct. The woman who saw the movie started to explain the story from the begining to the end. I could hear her talk. I must change my plans of going to see the movie.

The man

I often go to Mcdonalds nearby for breakfast. Whenever I go I see the same man there. Every time he sits at the same table and is face to face with his PC. On another day when I went for lunch he sat at the same table. When I went for dinner. I saw him at the same place again. He always uses the same space,opening his PC and drinking Iced coffee. He always carries big bags. This morning when I went there, he wasn't in his spot. After 30 minutes he came. I was watching him for a while. At first he sat at his seat and drank coffee. He took out his PC and some small bags from his bag and displayed them around him. He took off his shoes and faced his PC. I thought that he was a trader but he wasn't If he is a trader, he ought to watch stock data except during lunch time. He was net surfing in spite of time. He is a mystery.

Fire works

I went to see the fire works exhibition from a fish market. If I haven't had permission. I wouldn't have been able to enter into the market. Fortunately I was able to enter because my boyfriend works there. The fish market was a secret spot to look at fire works. We could see the fireworks right in front of us. It wasn't crowded. Most of the people there brought chairs and desks. There were free parking lots and clean rest rooms nearby.
