Flower exhibition

I exhibited my work in the flower exhibition today. A lot of Japanese flower arrangement styles participated in the exhibition. It is said that there a lot of styles. I could compare these styles. My style, "The Ryusei style" is both traditional and gradual. We often combine materials apart from flower, Leaves and branches. For example, we use vegetables, wires, jellies and papers. We can have free style. For my piece I used bamboos, flowers and saran wrap, which I always use in the kitchen. There is another style that is more free than our style. I think that "Sogetsu style" which is a famous style is most free. They use various items such as whisks and died leaves. Their works were dynamic an unique.

The spicy oil

I found an article of my client on a magazine. The article was about a spicy oil that contained garlic and red pepper which was used to season Chinese food. Lately this spicy oil has been very popular. My client owns a Chinese food shop in Chinatown. They sell food for professionals. I called my client and said "I saw the article. How is your shop?" My client answered "We have new consumers who often contact us about the spicy oil. We were happy, but we were in trouble. The spicy oil isn't a new seasoning. Chinese food restaurants had been using it for a long time. The oil suddenly became popular,and now we were out of stock. We couldn't supply any for our familiar customers." She said to me "It is unusual now." She was calm unlike what I expected.

My rabbit

My new diary's cover is a rabbit. I remember my rabbit. Back in my childhood I had a rabbit. Her name was "Ultra Bko". I named her from an anime called "Ultra B". The main character was a baby. He could use magic and could fly. The anime was very popular back then. I thought of what to have her when she first came to my house. I was surprised when I saw her jump. It reminded me of "Ultra B". Ultra B was a man. I added "ko" because my rabbit was a girl. Her name was completed.

My ideal work style

Today I talked to this web designer for the first time. I was looking for a web designer. I accidentally saw her website, and was very interested in her work style.

She has worked in Japan as a freelance web designer. Half a year ago she moved to Bali island. She contacts her clients from Bali all the way Japan. Her and her clients are using skype and e-mails to keep in touch. Her clients understand her job style. Especially I was interested in her marriage life. She left him in Japan and her children every time when he gets vacation.

There are two reasons why she moved to Bali. The first reason is that she likes Bali. She wants to work near the sea. The second reason is for her children. She wants her children to experience living in foreign countries. Though I feel bad for her husband for  staying alone in Japan, I agree with her choice.

My bag

I always have a lot of things to carry with me. I thought my bag was heavy because it was big. I was wrong.
2 weeks ago I bought a bag. I instantly liked it when I saw it at the shop, but it was smaller than the one I usually use. I couldn't decide whether to buy it or not. Though I needed a new bag because my bag had broke. Then the shop staff told me "Please put fewer things in your bag". Surely, I agreed with her because there were unnecessary things in my bag. I decided to buy the bag.
I immediately use the bag the next day. After one week, unfortunately I couldn't eliminate my things. The shape of my bag transformed into a strange shape. It was easier to carry by my shoulder than to carry it by my hand. But I couldn't even hang it from my shoulder because the handle had become shorter due to the many things in side the bag. I gave up using the bag. I bought another one which was the usual size.

The star festival

Today is the star festival this day is called "Tanabata". It is said that Hikoboshi and Orihime can meet only once a year on the milky way, which is the 7th of July. I checked their story on the internet. I had some misunderstandings. I had thought they were lovers who god didn't approve of. I had thought that they had a sad fortune like Romeo and Juliet, that the story was romantic. They were in fact a married couple. They had worked very hard but they stopped working after getting married. God couldn't stand by and watch, God made a rule which Hikoboshi and Orihime can meet only for one day each year. The real story isn't so romantic.
