Why are characters different between Osaka and Tokyo?

Tokyo people and Osaka people have different characters. Tokyo people are said to be shy and cool. They aren't concerned with other people. Osaka people are said to be aggressive and talkative. They like to get discounts. I researched about their differences. I knew that their characters were made in the Edo period. I focused on a point. "Why do Osaka people like to get discounts?" Their character was established in the Edo period. Osaka was the center of business. They were freely able to do business in Osaka. There were a lot of merchants. Their customers were merchants. They always thought of how to get good things in a low price. And Then they always ask for a discount. There were a lot of merchants in the Edo which is now Tokyo. Their customers were Samurais. Samurais didn't ask for a discount. Samurais thought merchants were low level. Samurais had pride. They couldn't ask "Discount please". Tokyo merchants had no need to discount their goods. For this reason I know the characters were influenced by this historical back ground.

A prize giving ceremony

My shopping site was awarded a prize. I attended the prize giving ceremony and the after party. There were 200 people in this event. All of the people who attended the event run their own net shops and their websites make a lot of sales. Their net shops are successful. When I talked with some participants. I noticed some common points. Most of the companies aren't located in Tokyo. For example some of the areas are Saitama, Ishiwkawa, Osaka and Fukuoka. They can rent out office spaces in a lower price than Tokyo. Most companies had run their net shops for over 5 years. Most people said "When I started the business there were no sales.The situation continued for a while. But then I didn't give up. I tried many things."

White Valentine's day

I was getting ready to leave my office. Then I opened the curtain of my office. I was surprised to see what I saw outside. It was showing and it was a few centimeters deep. I went to my house on foot. I put on my stilettos heel because I didn't know it was going to snow today. I was careful not to slip. After I was walking for a while I noticed that is wasn't cold. I don't like the cold weather, but I usually don't feel cold on snow days. I enjoyed walking in the snow. The road in front of my house was all white with the snow. Nobody had walked yet. I purposely  walked in zigzag to leave foot prints. Whoever walks by after me, I want them to wonder "Where do these foot prints go till?" In front of my house someone drew a few big hearts. I noticed that today is Valentine's day. This year had become a white Valentine's day.

Going on a trip with my friend

My hobby is to go on trips. I especially like to visit historical spots. When I look at the historical structures, such as castles and statues. I am amazed by the skills of ancient people. When I go to foreign countries I always take my friend there. His name is Jog and he is the brother of ET which I made up. My friend named him because he wore clothes for jogging. I went to LA 10 years ago. The trip left me with good memories. It was the first time to arrange everything by myself. I didn't participate in any of the tours that the travel agency provided. I me Jog for the first time on that trip. During the trip I had encountered many little incidents but thanks to Jog, none of them turned into anything serious nor big. Since then I take him with me on trips as my charm.

Plate for children

Last month I went to Kappabashi. There were a lot of shops that sold cooking goods for business use. I have seen those goods at restaurants. For example things such as huge pans, many kinds of ladles, sign boards and menu books. One item had caught my eye. It was a plate for children. The plate was shaped as a bullet train. When I was a child I went to a restaurant in a department store. I ordered from the children's menu. The food was served on a bullet train shaped plate. The plate made it more special. I came up with good idea. A friend of mine just had a baby. I haven't given a childbirth gift to her yet. Her child is a baby. I bought the plate and gave it to him.
