Korean Music

I heard a song on a TV program this morning. The TV program was about Korean pop music. One of the songs that they introduced was the song I've been wanting to know for half a year. I first heard the song last year when I saw a show in Thailand. The song gave a huge impact on me, I was humming the melody. I went to a CD store but unfortunately I couldn't find it because I didn't know the name of the song. I gave up finding the song. Luckily I found out the name this morning and I was surprised. All this time I had thought it was a Thai song, but it wasn't. It was a Korean song. The reporter said "Korean music has poisoned people" on the TV program. People who like Korean music say "The melody is easy to memorize". I agreed with them.

Thailand

A shopping center was put on fire by demo groups in Bangkok. I was shocked because I had been there last yeare. It is located in a busy are a where there were lots of people, shops, and restaurants. I've been to a restaurant nearby and also went shopping at the shopping center afterwards.

I didn't understand the reason why they had put the building on fire. I was shocked to see a familiar place be changed in a brutal way.

The next day I saw the news on TV again. It was showing the Thailand poeple cleaning the streets. I then knew that the demo had finished. I hope the city will go back like how it was before, soon.

Nomads Worker

I saw an article with this phrase on the internet. It was my first time to hear this phrase.

Nomads workers are people working at cafes and free spaces with thir PCs. Since lately free spaces are increasing, people can work outside. They said "We can concentrate at cafes and free spaces more than our offices". I agree with them. When I was a high school student, I studied at fast food restaurants and libraries. I couldn't concentrate studying at my home because there were TVs and comic books.

Nowadays when I want to read books and I want to write my diary, I always go to cafes.

Birthday plan

May 30th is my sister's birthday. Unfortunately she canceled her birthday plan because her boyfrind couldn't take a day off. My sister and I deceided to enjoy spending time together on her birthday.
We consulted on what we will do. She wanted to go to Kagawa, a place known for their udon, but Kagawa is very far and we only have one day. It is impossible to go there in one day.

I wanted to go to Utsunomiya, a place known for their dumplimgs, but my sister doesn't want to go there.
She said they only have dumplings. We didn't come to an agreement. I came up with a new idea of going to have breakfast or lunch at a posh hotel. She agreed with this idea and added something else to it. She said "I want to experience the life of a rich person". Then we made a list as we imagined what a rich person would spend their day.

*They will probably drink champagne at lunch.
*They will take a walk at Roppongi with their dog.
*They will ride a limousine when they travel.

We deceided to continuously add on to our list.
