The spicy oil

I found an article of my client on a magazine. The article was about a spicy oil that contained garlic and red pepper which was used to season Chinese food. Lately this spicy oil has been very popular. My client owns a Chinese food shop in Chinatown. They sell food for professionals. I called my client and said "I saw the article. How is your shop?" My client answered "We have new consumers who often contact us about the spicy oil. We were happy, but we were in trouble. The spicy oil isn't a new seasoning. Chinese food restaurants had been using it for a long time. The oil suddenly became popular,and now we were out of stock. We couldn't supply any for our familiar customers." She said to me "It is unusual now." She was calm unlike what I expected.
